Events
The Creative Element delivers delivers a range of engaging, educational, and entertaining events. Do you want to see robots fighting? We run Robowars at expos such as Sydney’s Vivid festival. On Valentine’s day we had people making ‘enchanted roses’ and liquid nitrogen ice cream. If your organisation or event wants something different and cool, please contact us with your details.
Training
We run training programs across Australia for people of all ages. This ranges from topics to Electronics and Robotics, Computer Assisted Drawing (CAD), Induction Moulding, Chemistry, through to Design and 3D Printing.
Government and Corporate clients use our workshop for ideation and design thinking, prototyping, and team-building. Read a case study here and learn how your workplace will benefit.
For school-aged students we can design and deliver workshops on behalf of schools that meet the curriculum. Book an appointment with us to discuss your training requirements.
Prototyping
Are you contemplating a new product or custom project? We have years of experience in design, rapid prototyping (including molding and electronics) and light manufacturing.
We are available for consulting from $80/hr (GST inclusive). We supervise your 3D print jobs for $55/hr (GST inclusive), which is inclusive of all filament. Please contact us to discuss your project.
Our maker space has a great range of tools on-site for prototyping and manufacturing. This includes four 3D Printers, a vacuum chamber, professional mold-making equipment, soldering and electronics equipment.
We also have access to lathes and saws through workshops at our partner organisations across Canberra.
Pretty Dangerous Science
Take off the bubble wrap and tear of the safety labels. It’s time to do something dangerous. Well… pretty dangerous.
Pretty dangerous is our popular Adults-Only events series, running once per month across Canberra.
Upcoming events will see people making their own bespoke gin, rockets, and reclaiming precious metals from your old electronics to make jewellery.

The Creative Element operates the Maker’s Space facility at Unit 6, 5 Isa Street. The Creative Element’s services, combined with the Maker’s Space facility, provides critical services that help other entrepreneurs to make improvements on their designs before larger-scale manufacturing begins.
